Alan's blog entry on Simply Computers customer service has caused a bit of a stir over there and rightly so. Appearing third in a google search on "simply computers" has made his feelings on their poor customer service clearly visible to anyone who does their research before stumping up any cash to Simply. In fact many already have opted to go elsewhere having read his post. Amazing how powerful blogs can be!
It's sad to see that Simply Computers only decided to take some action and give Alan a refund because of his blog and not because of the umpteen times he spoke to them on the phone. The latest news is that they've now asked Alan to 'de-google' the entry so as people can't find out the truth about their poor customer service as readily as they can now. If it were me I'd consider making every effort to get to first place in google and rub a little extra salt in that growing wound :)
